New Delhi, 20 May 2025: Major devaluation for Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card. Axis Bank has announced a change that may affect most of the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card users.
Starting from June 20, 2025, Axis Bank has decided to discontinue the complimentary airport lounge access benefit that was previously offered with the Flipkart co-branded credit card. Customers have already received alerts via SMS and Email regarding this upcoming change.
But there is some good news too. Axis Bank has increased the cashback on Myntra purchases from 1% to 7.5%, giving users more value when they shop for fashion-clothing and accessories. This cashback is quarterly capped at ₹4,000.
With Myntra cashback, the Flipkart Axis Credit Card will continue to offer 5% cashback on Flipkart and Cleartrip, with a combined quarterly cashback limit of ₹4,000 for these two platforms.
Users also earn 4% cashback on Swiggy, PVR, Cult.fit, and Uber transactions, and 1% cashback on all other eligible purchases.
Additional benefits include up to 15% cashback (up to ₹100) on dining through EazyDiner and a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on transactions above ₹400.
The Flipkart Axis Credit Card remains a good choice among co-branded cards, especially for those who frequently shop on Flipkart. This card comes with a joining fee of ₹500 and an annual renewal fee of ₹500, This renewal fee is waived if you can spend ₹3.5 lakh or more in a year.
This major announcement for this card comes at a time when Amazon Prime Video is introducing ads to its platform.
For loyal Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card users, despite the loss of lounge access, the increased Myntra cashback and 5% cashback for shopping on Flipkart still make this card a good option to consider.
