“AI Mode is coming to everyone in the U.S” says Google CEO Sundar Pichai

Google is changing the way of search with AI Mode — a new era of smarter, more personalized search experiences powered by Google Gemini. AI Mode is now rolling out to everyone in the U.S., promising more accurate, faster, and deeply personalized responses.
Google rolled out AI Overviews last year. Since then, over 1.5 billion users across 200 countries and territories have used the AI overviews experience. According to Google, people are more satisfied with the AI Overview response.

Pichai said, “In our biggest markets like the U.S. and India, AI Overviews are driving over 10% growth in the types of queries that show them, and this growth increases over time.“
“It’s one of the most successful launches in Search in the past decade,” Pichai wrote in an article on Google Blog.
Google is introducing AI Mode for search for those who want an end-to-end AI Search experience. According to Google’s internal data insight, early AI Mode testers have been asking queries that are two to three times the length of traditional searches, and you can go further with follow-up questions. All of this is available as a new tab right in Search.
With AI Mode, Google isn’t just updating Search — it’s changing it forever.
