Honda CB650R E-Clutch Hits Indian Roads: A Game-Changer for Riders
Honda has officially launched the Honda CB650R E-Clutch in India, introduces new-edge technology to the India’s premium motorcycle segment. Honda CB650R E-Clutch ex-showroom priced at ₹9.60 lakh. This new Honda CB650R shares new Neo Sports Café design while introducing a revolutionary E-Clutch system that enhances rider convenience.
Honda introduced the E-Clutch technology first in 2023, allows riders to shift gears, start, and stop without manually operating the clutch lever. This innovation makes urban and highway ridingsmoother, reducing fatigue while maintaining the thrill of manual control when desired. Unlike traditional automatic transmissions, the E-Clutch system lets riders take over whenever they choose, offering the best of both worlds.
The new Honda CB650R remains powered by the 649cc inline-four-cylinder engine, delivering 94bhp at 12,000 RPM and 63Nm of torque at 9,500 RPM. The six-speed gearbox remains unchanged, except for the addition of the E-Clutch system. The bike also features Showa’s 41mm SFF-BP inverted front forks, a rear monoshock, and dual-channel ABS with 310mm front discs, ensuring top-tier handling and safety.
Designwise the CB650R maintains its minimalist yet muscular stance, featuring a round LED headlamp, a sculpted fuel tank, and an exposed steel frame. It is available in Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, giving riders stylish options to choose from.
Bookings for the CB650R E-Clutch are now open at Honda BigWing dealerships, with deliveries expected to begin by the last week of May 2025.
