Bank Holiday Alert: Bank Open or Closed Today May 24, 2025?
New Delhi: If you have important banking tasks lined up, mark your calendar—May 24, 2025, is a bank holiday across India. Falling on the fourth Saturday of the month, bank branches across country will remain closed as per Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) standard holiday schedule.
While digital banking services like UPI, mobile banking, and net banking will remain operational, physical bank branches will be closed nationwide. This means no in-person transactions, cheque clearances, or cash deposits at branches.
To avoid last-minute hassles, customers should complete essential banking tasks in advance. Bank ATM will remain function.
With Sunday, May 25, also being a non-working day, banks will remain closed for two consecutive days. Businesses and individuals relying on banking services should plan accordingly to prevent disruptions.
